Hey there and apologies if it's already been answered. Is there any reason to keep TSW3 installed if i'm upgrading to TSW4? I don't have enough room on my SSD for both unless i delete some other games (which i'd rather not do). I bought the Deluxe version so my plan was to delete TSW3 tomorrow to be ready to d/l TSW4 on Thursday. Thanks for your assistance!
TLDR for post above: no longer but short answer: you can uninstall all DLCs and TSW3 itself if you reinstalled everything in/on/for TSW4.
A few TSW2 routes reportedly run better there than in TSW3 due to glitches in the new version. No way to rule out the same thing happening in TSW4. You shouldn't need to keep more than one version of any route, but you may want to be cautious abut deleting TSW3 versions of favorites until you've established that the TSW4 version works to your satisfaction.
The other thing worth noting is that you won’t have access to your TSW 3 collection in TSW 4, until the 26th. So if you have any routes you like to play, it may be worth keeping them installed. Personally I won’t be doing too much in TSW 4 until the 26th, as I’ll want to experience it at its fullest.
Thanks everyone, that makes it all clear. I'll probably delete most TSW3 stuff but maybe keep a few routes installed until the 26th assuming no issues arise.
Pretty much winding down TSW3 now with slightly less than two days to go. A run on MML to finish off and then time to draw the curtain. But as noted above I guess it will need to be kept installed until at least the 26th if not later to ensure Journey and other progression comes across along with Mastery etc. It’s a bit like trading in your old car for a new one, slightly cheaper though I guess!
