I think discord is a hidden place where people discuss things without other people being able to read, unless they are a member too. Too bad so much stuff is hidden these days.
Hardly a hidden place or hidden content, you only need the link and a regular web browser to join (there is an app too though if you prefer), here's the TSC (Train Sim Community) discord link https://discord.gg/trainsim I must say though Discord isn't for me, I've tried with it a few times over the years and I simply don't like the platform.
This forum is open, all can read, discord is only for mebers to see. No idea why people want a platform likel that for a computer game. Is the modern trent. internet used to be international and for everyone, nowadays internet is mostly national and behind a login or membership
