Whenever you start a service from the timetable, you don't seem to have much time to set up the unit or loco before departure.

When using the Class 150 this can be really irritating, as in order to activate the AWS you have to use a switch on the wall behind the drivers seat, which you can't interact with from a seated position.

I'm often departing maybe 10-15 seconds late as a result.

Yep, it is extremely tight on WCL and you have absolutely no time to set up the unit correctly.

Right? I usually manage to make up the time anyway, even with the class 150 barely managing to maintain speed on the gradients, but why it's so tight at stops is beyond me.

Never understood why they just don’t make the setting up time the same on all routes say 2 minutes. Currently it appears different on virtually every route.
