Anyone Got Particular Favourite 142 Livery ?

The new Blackpool route of course brung out 3 liveries for the Class 142

All are very nice in my opinion, but I think the orange to be my favourite, just wondering what others was aswell.

 

I like the blue one personally. I think that's how they were when I first experienced them as a child in the late 80s in Lincolnshire.

 

quick question about the livery

do each livery change something beside the colour of the train that is

 

the seats change inside the passenger compartments as in the colour of them

 

I was wondering this myself. The one time i drove the brown Pacer, it was a different transmission i think (2-speed rather than 4?), but is that tied to the liveries, or is it just random?

 

Mechanically the liveries don't do anything. It is the dates next to the name of the livery which does that.

 

Depends on the route I’m on.

BPO & TVL? Provincial
NTP? GMPTE
WCL? Skipper

Personally I love that they’ve given us a practically universal pacer.
