Ap Class 80x In Scenario Editor

I’m trying to replace the JT 222 with the AP Class 800 on the Midland Main Line but the editor defaults to the electric version instead of diesel so doesn’t move during the scenarios.

I thought you could click on the lead vehicle and enter “;P=D” after the vehicle number but this doesn’t seem to change anything. Can anyone help? Thankyou.

 

Which AP 800 are you trying to use on the MML?
Not all 800 series have Diesel power - Some of the LNER sets and the Lumo sets are Electric Only.

 

It is the 810 reskin in EMR colours. Perhaps it’s a reskin of the electric-only version!

 

Assuming this is the ATS Version
This version is Electric Only.

There are comments asking if the train could be done as a Bi-Mode so you could drive from Leicester to Sheffield.
Also it is not designed to work with the AP version - Comments asking if it could.

 

Thanks for that! I hadn’t noticed that it was electric only. Maybe I’ll have to buy the 222…

 

The class 222 is half price at the moment on Just Trains website.
