Anyone had any problems installing the recent version dated 27/5? Starts to install but then at 70% get error 1722. Tried all fixes as suggested in the FAQ, even tried my other PC to check if was my main pc giving the error - same result. Got a feeling it's a error in the downloaded file, but you never know. All other AP stuff installs fine.
Check your temp folder, I get this error when reinstalling AP mods sometimes and clearing the temp folder usually solves the problem Mine is at C:\Users\'Your Username'\AppData\Local\Temp but yours will vary depending on your username for your windows. EDIT - Seems this error is actually 2753 so please disregard
Same here, although it did run once without throwing an error but failed to install the scenario for the AP Bed-Pan EP. I tried downloading and installing to a temporary folder on a different PC but still got the 1722 error. I reported it to AP yesterday but I've not yet had a reply. P.S. I've been installing the latest versions of plenty of other AP stuff and the weather pack is the only one that has had the 1722 error.
Not having the same issue myself, but there are a few people over on the ATS Facebook group reporting the same thing. Someone posted there that a fix is being worked on.
Seems the error I was referring to above is 2753 not 1722 so please disregard I have just re-installed the WeatherEP with no issues so it would seem to affect some but not others
Cheers, still getting the 1722 install error, checking the AP folder it looks like I have a partial install of the EP, clearly lots of missing files when comparing it to version 1 of the sky pack. Tried pretty much everything to solve this, very bizarre considering all other EP's install fine and most other folks have no issues. Wonder if it's a windows version problem, or even a zip file unpacker issue.
A quick google search of 'install error 1722' seems to indicate that it is not specific to the enhancement pack but I did not look into any detail about it
Have you reported it to AP? I did a couple of days ago but still haven't had a reply which is unusual, normally Richard responds very quickly.
Not needing the May 27 update (it only adds the DTG MML scenario back), I've tried and yes the installer is broken. It's the data.7z archive that is inside the data.cab that is inside the .msi file that is corrupt. It will fail to install the script and shaders. If you got the previous version installed, you'll have no issues. For new installations, it won't work. I take it Richard is aware?
My experience of emailing is that Richard is that he's really attentive and helpful. If he responds immediately then it's a known issue or a "don't know". If he's taking his time he's looking into it.
Just had an email from Richard advising me to re-download the weather pack and I'm pleased to report that it now installs correctly. He's also updated TDA-D pack again, the last one didn't have the scenario for the AP Bed-Pan route EP that it should have had.
I'll toot my own horn and mention that, after reading this thread earlier today, I immediately shot AP an email about the S&W2 installation malfunction. It wasn't long after that that I received notice of the new download. It might be totally coincidental, but ya never know.
