Hey Guys Me and some people lately discovered that some Games on the App-and Google Play Store are using TrainSimWorld stuff like Screenshots or Trailer Scenes to advertise or present their own Games. These Games do not provide the same In-Game content in any way. I don’t know if this may be illegal, against some laws or the Dovetail Games privacy policy but I thought since I can’t reach out to Dovetail Games via E-Mail I‘d just post it here. Some of those Game developers that are using this specific content from TSW slightly changed some things like some Train livery’s. The point is that you still can see that those pictures belong to TrainSimWorld content. I don’t know what else to do but to post it here. Maybe Dovetail Games is already about to "fight" against these developers, maybe they didn’t even noticed it. I just wanted to tell y‘all that. I put some screenshots down below. Have a lovely Day!
You could always DM Matt or Alex. I suspect they are probably aware of the plagiarism, but likely most of these “developers” are in locations such as India, China or Russia where they cannot be touched by legal processes even international ones (which probably cost a fortune to instigate). Best they can do is try and get Google or Apple interested, but given they let this junk in the App Stores in the first place, wouldn’t hold out much hope.
I think this speaks more to the generic looks of the Talent 1 - looks exactly as you'd expect in a fake game profile
report it to the community manager. They can have the ads removed because of copyright infringement or something like that.
AI generated graphics by chance? Copyright zealots, lawyers and lawmakers are already having troubles, including legal, over AI generated images plagiarising works of art, photographs, copyrighted advertisement stills, posters and such.
