Disclaimer: I do not own TSW3 yet because my laptop doesn't have the right graphics card for the game but I am planning on getting a better computer in the future that can run TSW3 at recommended specs. That being said I do watch gameplay footage of the game and one of the videos I watched was of a grain train symbolled G-SDGABQ, or Grain train San Diego to Albuquerque and the train is fully loaded at San Bernardino at +14,000 tons headed towards Barstow. My question is: since when did grain flow Eastbound from the ports? Doesn't grain usually flow Westbound toward the ports for export? And since when did grain come from San Diego specifically? I mean yeah, the train symbol follows the correct BNSF nomenclature and form, but is that even a real train symbol? The only real BNSF train symbols I know of having anything to do with San Diego are H (priority manifests) and V (vehicle trains).
You can see a list of real BNSF train symbols on this page from railroadfan.com. It might be a 100% complete list but considering it was just updated yesterday (February 1, 2023) it's probably more than fine as a pool to pull symbols from for train sim purposes. I ask because generally grain flows from the plains to the ports on the west coast. It seems really weird to me that there's a loaded grain train originating at San Diego, not to mention that BNSF's yard at San Diego is actually kind of small and while I can see manifests and vehicle trains originating from that yard I find it a bit hard to imagine a loaded grain train originating down there in San Diego.

Technically those trains should not exist, there is no grain facilities in San Diego that would handle a large unit train that is depicted in game.

The closest grain cars I could find anywhere in that area were located on the other side of the Mexico border.

However, I expect these cars to head to San Diego on the DAYGO before being transfered to the local shortline railroad to be hauled to Mexico.

The only major grain elevator in SoCal that would take a loaded grain train would be Ardent Mills and A&R transport in San Bernardino, but Ardent mills sits empty in game with no services to or from it.
