I have complete all the monthly challenges bar one, the walk 5 miles...? Although I have walked in SEHS and tonight I walked the lenght of WSR, it still hasn't registered as complete? Any suggestions? WSR is stunning for the walking challenge to be fair.
It takes a surprising amount of time to do the walking! I haven’t had issues with it registering but the other challenges are done, just this rather silly one to finish. Planning to do a run later and just do a couple of mindless strolls up and down the platform at station stops to get it done.
doing a shunting service or my personal favorite. I picked WCMLoS this time. teleported from station to station and looked for all collectibles is a decent way to get the milestones
The thing is though, I didn’t want to take more collectibles than needed as this particular tedium is bound to come up again. So when walking along a platform I am being very careful not to get too close to blank or tatty notice boards, abandoned Teddy Bears or weed infested plant pots. Need to save those for next time.
You need to open a support ticket. I have had this happen in the past and have occasionally read about it on the forums. They will sort it out for you and the walked distances will appear as achieved…
I got a lot of my walking from collecting the collectibles tbf then did a short walk on Blackpool as I always go and wander to see what services are about
Log a ticket with Dovetail Support. They are good at sorting these issues out if it's not counting the mastery as complete. They usually get back to you pretty quick.
Reading how you walk along the platform trying not to collect anything, suddenly Mission Impossible theme is going off in my head
I swear some routes register being on a moving train as walking. Some routes I have hundreds of Km on foot when I definitely didn’t walk that.
