Arlbergbahn Innsbruck To Bludenz I would love to see the Arlbergbahn with a Railjet and/or 4748 and maybe the 1044 aswell. I think it would be easy to do for DTG and if we get the Railjet (please DTG Im waiting since TSW2 now) we can continue on the Vorarlberg route to Bregenz and Lindau. Route Information: -136 km (85 Miles) long route from Innsbruck to Bludenz -Max speed 160km/h Rollingstock: BR1116 Railjet BR4748 Desiro ML CJX Tirol BR1044 aka Alpenstaubsauger Sdggmrs - Taschenwagen That would be my suggestion and I hope it will make it in TSW someday.
I would prefer 1144 as it is still in operation today and would be great for layering 100x HELL YEAH... if it was done on Expert level, I would even pay 50 euros just for the train DLC lol Desiro ML is my fav commuter/regional trainset, so **** yeah
This is a great suggestion, it has both (relative) flat Segment under 10‰ from Bludenz to Landeck, and slopes of over 30‰ on the approaches to the Arlbergtunnel with climbs of ~750m from either Terminus to Peak. There is the interest of single track running on such a major route, between Braz and Bludenz (~6,5 km). It is also incredibly historic (Orient-Express), with plenty of intercity, regional, and freight trains operating. This would greatly complement the existing S-Bahn Vorarlberg, as well as the coming Karwendelbahn. Something you did not mention is S-Bahn Tirol, whos lines S4 and S5 run along here, up to Telfs-Pfaffenhofen and Ötztal respectively. Ideally, the route would come with Freight, IC, REX and S-Bahn services as standard, with ICE and NJ layering in and RJX being a standalone DLC that layers into other routes as well.
Railjet, my beloved. They should really get around to making it. Added a whole new country yet only added 2 new trains for it.
