Hey, Does anybody else suffer this problem when downloading from AP? The download will be progressing normally, then suddenly restart when there's 5-10 seconds left to run. I've never had this problem anywhere else, but it happens every time I try to download something from AP. Eventually it will usually finish somewhere between the 5th and 10th attempt, I.e. I recently had to download about 1 gb of data to finally finish a 100 mb download! Very frustrating.
I thought that and turned it all off, but the problem persist(s/ed). Finally got it to work, seemingly by chance - I downloaded the same file ten times in unison, and one of them made it whilst the other 9 restarted as before. I'd say this was probably download attempt number 30 that finally finished! I don't have the issue on any other website, non train sim included, so I'm really not sure, but it's making me hesitant to purchase from AP again, despite them making some really quality content.
Are you using something apart from a normal browser to download the files? And have you tried a different Browser to your normal one? I normally use Firefox on most websites but some I have a problem with so I use Chrome on those.
I have been downloading from AP since about 2010 and have never had any issues. I use download manager programs to download. I used to use Getright but now use Free Download Manager which runs as an extension from most browsers. Select what you want to download from your browser and it will automatically start.
And I have no issues on AP and all the other railway websites with Firefox. EasyJet however is a different story
