I’ve purchased the AP HST (MTU); which is brilliant, a Very nice cab interior! My question is, i want to create a new scenario on the Western Mainlines route. Specifically, to create the soon to be withdrawn Castle Class sets that run between Plymouth and Penzance. What I have noticed is that when the correct version of the Class 43 (Castle) power car is selected and placed using the editor; it chooses a power car at random and unlike other locomotives where you double click on the loco it brings up a pop up screen where it is then possible to change the number of loco, this doesn’t appear to alter the number or nameplate on the locomotive. Therefore necessitating a lengthy place/delete/replace process until the desired power car is eventually found. Is this a glitch or is it not possible to change the locomotive numbers within this particular pack?
I think you have to specify if you want a different one Nameplates Most of the time, the correct nameplate will automatically appear depending on the livery and power car number. Occasionally though, you may wish to change this to suit specific eras. To do this, add ;NP=x to the power car number. • The first nameplate carried by a locomotive in its relevant livery. x = 1 • The second nameplate carried by a locomotive in its relevant livery. x = 2 • The third nameplate carried by a locomotive in its relevant livery. x = 3 and so on… Add ;NP=0 to the power car number to remove a nameplate.
Thank you for your help; I’ve actually heard back from Richard Armstrong, who assures me that once the desired power car is selected, the number will change when the scenario is launched. But not while in the actual editor!
