Sony policy for launch discounts I'm sure is to only allow it for PS+ users. Definitely out of their control.
My PS Plus won't expire until the 9th of next month. If there's no additional sale before Arosa Line comes, then I would buy this route at release since it's getting a discount. I already brought IOW few days ago and I am just waiting HMA, SEHS, BR Class 31, MP36PH-3C, MP15DC, DB BR 204, BR Class 20, and DB BR 363 to be on sale.
Just buy a PS wallet top up via the many websites which sell them. I use shopto.net and they sell a £25 PSN voucher for £22.85 which is a 9% saving. Why pay full price when you don’t have to..
I play on my other half’s PS account. I think she might have just started using PS+ which is nice. I’m not bothered either way, I’ve come to terms with there not being discounts on PS4. On a single purchase it’s not a massive amount but it soon adds up if you buy a lot of DLC, which is a shame.
Hi, My PS+ also runs out on the 7th, my question is if I got this on the release date (25th) on my PS+ account and then I cancel the membership will I still be able to use the DLC?
You should be able to because you've paid for it. As it isn't a PS+ monthly game, you shouldn't lose access to it once your membership expires, even if it was offered with a discount at purchase for being a PS+ member.
Yes you can still use paid for dlc - PS + accounts would just affect any PS+ free monthly games. Not purchases.
