I think this route would be a good candidate for the remastering treatment. I enjoy the rolling stock on this challenging line and there have also been a couple of add-ons done for it.
What spoils it now are the “jelly like” mountains. This has really come into focus since the appearance of new Swiss and Austrian routes where the mountains are so sharp and clearly defined, not looking like, well jelly! Now the route lags sadly behind graphically.

Yeah, an upgrade to the mountains would be great. What would also be great is a timetable redo where I can use the timber wagons, that came with the base route, in timetable mode without purchasing one of the scenario/gameplay/livery packs for it.

Arosa with a bit better physics, a light scenery touch up, and good looking mountains would pretty much be a perfect route.

Suspect to change the terrain, e.g. to use LiDAR data, would require in this instance a complete rebuild. Which given Rivet still have so many outstanding issues with their various other routes seems unlikely to happen. And in all honesty I would rather they come up with something new from Switzerland or extend Luzern to Sursee and finish the Bernina Line than makeover Arosa. I personally never thought it looked too bad, at the right time of day or in the snow.

This route is really showing its age.
You'd think with the recent loco skin dlc, this route would’ve had some rework done to it.

Yeah to use LIDAR well would need a rebuild.

In my view, no chance the current route is for me, that scenery is awful so if they want to fix that in anyway I’m opening to being interested and seeing what they do with it.

Showing its age? Are you kidding, this route was straight out of Microsoft train simulator or railworks (not tsc) when it came out. Ugly ugly ugly, the worst looking route ever for TSW.
At least we have Bernina wich in comparison is the moust beautiful route released for TSW to date. It was a hard lesson but Rivet did learn how to make a proper swiss route at the end
