One of the countries that hasn't appeared in TSW 2 is The Netherlands. One of the reasons may be the fact that most of The Netherlands is a flat plain. South Limburg on the other hand has been uniquely filled with hills. So maybe something could be done over there. My idea is to get the all the Arriva services Within the province of Limburg and the NS intercity services Roermond-Sittard-Heerlen/Maastricht. The reason for the year posted is that by then the Limax train are operational from Aachen-Maatricht-Liege. Whereas it's now Aachen-Maastricht. I'd love to see a Dutch route, and Limburg really offers an interesting landscape, but a Dutch route wouldn't be the same without the iconic NS trains. Besides, wouldn't the iconic flat and open landscape be the thing that makes a Dutch route unique, and different from the usual stuff?
Well, yes, but that's hard to pull off. Plus I suggested NS IC services with the VIRM on the routes between Roermond and Maastricht/Heerlen
