At Last A New Class 47

I am having trouble linking to it on my phone (it might work now) but I have just seen a Facebook post from Precision Loco Developments showing a new class 47 on development.

Yes, it will be much appreciated, but I'd prefer they'd make progress with their BR 8P Duke of Gloucester they previously announced.

 

They seem to have quite a bit going on. I'm looking forward to the Hall in particular.

The Duke of Gloucester will be a great addition. I'd like so see some of the other missing standard classes too.

 

This is great news. Probably the DLC that in my opinion is most needed. Wondering what the scope will be.

Were you blocked from viewing their page at some point? I am getting the page for "Precision Locomotive Developments" just fine.

 

Hopefully it will cover all the years to present day. I agree definitely one of the most needed.

 

Just a thought but do you "follow" the PLD on facebook?
It may be a "follower only" issue.
Unless you are a "follower" of certain sites on facebook you only get restricted access.

 

That is not the issue. I do not follow or even "like" them and I can see it fine.

 

This pack really needs to be the 'complete' 47 pack rather than having one or two variants. We've waited long enough, and if (for example) BMG only do the early versions we'll be waiting for years to get a pack for the other variants.

 

I follow ATS and others like AP and Backdated TrainSim - I have posted on their page and AFAIK I'm not blocking any pages.

It's not that you are blocking any pages. It's that they may have blocked you from viewing their page. This causes a group to look like it was deleted or moved.

 

I'm surprised AP turned down a ton of money by not making a 47 pack.

 

I believe they said that they'd only do it if they were working with someone else, who would do the modelling. For all we know at this time, this could be that collaboration.

 

Didn't they collaborate on the 50? If that did happen I could see a repetition of that partnership, very excited.

Ah yes, I has a feeling there was one there that I owned but could not remember. I must have thought that was Whiteley's. But I own it separately on Steam, so it can't be. LMAO

Did I ? On reflection I suppose I did. Didn't mean to.
I think what I was trying to say, is that its not an enhancement pack for the Michael Whiteley 50

 

I didn't ask anyone who made it, if you were referring to me. I said I know of a Michael Whiteley one. I thought there was an AP one but wasn't sure who developed it and didn't want to say something in error.

 

I've been waiting for a decent 47 for such a long time.
