    The route covers part of the famous Chicago - Los Angeles route, covering a small fraction of it. Starting from Chicago and going as far as Joliet, the route is ~40-45 miles. The route is set in the 1940s, so I'd expect the route to be part fictional on the basis that recreating something ~75 years ago is impractical.

    Preserved examples, (although not running) exist of all the locomotives in this route.

    What about including a little bit of diesel action to go along with it? Maybe the first F unit will join the game, or perhaps the old GP7;)
