I love playing train sim games, and TRAIN SIM WORLD is no exception. I'm also suggesting and would love to see in the future in TSW, Greece's Athens Metro Line 3(blue) : Dimotiko Theatro - Doukissis Plakentias - Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos). The operator of the Metro is STASY (Urban Rail Transport S.A.) - (Greek lettering: ΣΤΑΣΥ). The current logo of Operator, Metro & Line 3 - The route has 27 stations & is more or less 1hr long. - For electrification, the metro uses 750 V DC Third Rail from Dimotiko Theatro to Doukissis Plakentias (Generation 1,2,3 Rolling Stock). - After/at Doukissis Plakentias the electrification changes to 25 KV 50Hz AC overhead catenary (Pantograph) while getting shared with Athens Suburban Railway (Operated by Hellenic Train S.A.) network for access to/from the airport (Gen 2 Rolling Stock). - Country: Greece - Current depots are: Eleonas & (doukissis) Plakentias - Track gauge: 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge. - Line length: 47.3 km (29.4 mi). - Line 3 is connected with the Lines 1&2 of metro , Athens Tram & Athens suburban Railway. - Rolling stock Safety Systems: Indusi (short period------replaced by ATP) Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system - type LZB 700 Automatic Train Operation (ATO) system (Under evaluation) TETRA radios ETCS LVL1 - Signalling: Red (STOP) & Green (GO) Current Map of metro transportation (Line 3 is the Blue color) : Current Scaled-down map of Line 3 : All rolling stocks have : 6 coaches , 4 doors per coach , 80 KM/H top speed (Gen 2 can get 120 KM/H on 25KV-50Hz AC).
