The latest roadmap for TSW6 had a cool announcement that I've been hoping for for a long time: BNSF GP60Ms and GP60Bs. However, the pack is missing the Spartan Cab GP60s. Santa Fe rostered 40 of the powerful EMD GP60s, along with their GP60Ms and GP60Bs. The GP60s were the last 4-axle Geeps built by EMD. Their 16-Cylinder 710 Prime Movers produced 3800HP. GP60s were often operated on fast intermodal trains in the 1990s and early 2000s. Now they handle local and yard duties on the BNSF RR. The GP60Ms proved to be less popular with ATSF engineers because the wide cab made the front end of the loco heavier, so there was a lot of noise and discomfort. ATSF engineers preferred the B40-8W (which should also be added as DLCs, along with a Narrow Cab ATSF B40-8) on the head end of their fast intermodal trains. The Spartan Cab GP60s were quite popular with ATSF engineers on fast freights. If we get the GP60 Spartan Cab units, we need the following liveries: -ATSF (of course) for Cajon Pass; should have been included in the ATSF Cajon Pass DLC Pack -BNSF: in Patched-ATSF Yellowbonnet, H1, and H4 Swoosh liveries; also for Cajon -SP (they rostered the most GP60s) for Cajon or a 1990s SP route -D&RGW (they only rostered 3 units) perhaps a new D&RGW/SP (since both RRs merged in the late 1980s) route (Soldier Summit?) -UP (including ex-SP Patched and ex-D&RGW patched units; along with rebuilt GP60E and GP62 units too) for Sherman Hill and Cajon Pass -NS: for Horseshoe Curve; also include their GP59s (basically 3000HP GP60s with 12-710 Prime Movers instead of the 16-710); NS GP59E/ECO rebuilds needed too
