I've been experiencing an unusual audio distortion issue in Train Simulator Classic, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem Need solution
Make sure that you don't have a microphone turned on like from a webcam. I had distorted sound a couple of years ago and on investigation through my Windows settings, I found that the microphone to my webcam was turned on so you might have something similar but not necessarily a webcam.
