would be interesting and cool if there was an Australian route like tilt train in Queensland, Indian pacific, the ghan, nsw trainlink, vline, metro.
Sadly seems very, very unlikely. There aren't even any payware Aussie routes for TSC (that I know of) so doubt TSW would get anything. If they were to do something, likely to be around the Sydney area I would have thought.
Non-stop by plane from Heathrow is Perth Western Australia the 1.067m Transperth network. 3-4 months ago my mum was on the Transperth Mandurah Line location is Wellard Railway Station since that's where her sister lives.
If dovetail does make a Australian route it should be either Adelaide metro network which is 61 miles with 5 lines which uses two trains or the steam ranger heritage railway which is the longest in Australia due to it taking 3 hours to get from one end to the other its longer than WSR by a long shot.
Good idea but there is a problem with the Adelaide system it's 1.6m Irish Gauge just like the Melbourne Victoria commuter rail because South Australia and state of Victoria had a single broad gauge line linking them before the 1990s re gauge the Serviceton Line
Don't know if anyone above has mentioned this but for another country to come to the game, DTG would need a 3rd party Developer that is based on that specific country. Now, I do believe that Matt announced in a livestream a while back that Australia isn't coming to TSW ever
How's it a problem the standard track is the same as British standard gauge. Also only freight and the occasional ghan, indian pacific etc use the line.
