    Wien Hbf - Wiener Neustadt

    Possible corridors to include:
via Meidling - Liesing and Modling to W.Neustadt (S-Bahn to various regional trains all the way to InterCity and RailJets)
via Wien-Blumental - Pottendorf - W.Neustadt (regional, S60, and later after upgrade also highspeed trains)
via Kledering - Traiskirchen Aspangbahn - Sollenau - Wiener Neustadt (OBB 5047 motorcar, diesel, basically two thirds of remaining Aspangbahn; more of heritage thing, matter of time till they shut off service there IMO)

Or do Stammstrecke Wien Meidling-Floridsdorf, plus one or two complete branches - S/REX7 to Wolfsthal, S2 to Wolkersdorf, S4 to Stockerau... ok I'm Vienna fanboy and especially of OBB 4744/4746/4748 <3

Good point and for the Aspangbahn it actually runs to the Hump Yard Wien Kledering since the segment of the Aspangbahn Wien Hbf Friedhof is electrified to 15kv 16.7hz link is from the German Wikipedia Aspangbahn. Looks like this corridor needs 4744 4746 4748 Desiro ML Wien Kledering 2070 1064 can be substituted by German 363 365 G6 204 shunters due to Germany using the same PZB 90 as the ÖBB

first off, they often tend to use a 6axle electric shunter, since they need a lot of power to push those long trains up the hump... and second, to have an actually working Kledering (which would actually make me like freight in this game lol), they would have to revamp carriage/car physics to make a hump/sorting yard work - plus they would have to add at least automatic operator into the tower, so the uncoupled cars get to the designated track and joined there etc

would love that, but it would require quite some work

in the current game environment, maybe the Pottendorfer Line or the one via Modling would work - on the Pottendorfer Line you even have a quite nice, new and shiny Wien Sud freight terminal :)

Thanks and that's the same principle as Verschiebebahnhof Salzburg Gnigl Linz Hall in Tirol Innsbruck a hump yard with Retarders. 1064 might layer to German routes if applicable

I do think about Kledering a lot - it would be a perfect place not only to introduce hump yard physics, but also to introduce a possible multiplayer mode - you need someone to bring a train there, then uncouple the cars on one of entry tracks... then someone else needs to slowly push the thing up the hump... where another guy looks at his papers and moves around the slowly moving thing and uncouples the cars depending on which new train they are assigned to... then the guy in the tower needs to be switching switches properly and controlling the speed with on-track braking thingies... then guys on various tracks putting the new trains together... and in the end, various loco drivers taking stuff away :)

during my exploration of Vienna, I managed to find a perfectly safe access to a trainspotter's luxurious spot, right over the place where the guy with the long pole (pun not really intended) uncouples various cars, so you can watch most of the action from that spot without tresspassing or otherwise violating spaces you should not go :)

as a bonus you can watch tons of different passenger trains passing by, either direction Bruck an der Leitha or Schwechat/Wolfsthal

as an alternative to the Wiener Neustadt corridors, the St.Polten corridors would also be nice and varied:

Westbahnhof - Hutteldorf - Tullnerfeld - St. Polten aka CJX route/service (aka CityJet / Siemens Desiro ML going fullspeed most of the time), but also Westbahn highspeed trains use parts of this route (a little over 35mins)
Hauptbahnhof - Meidling - (Lainzer Tunnel and passing Hutteldorf) aka highspeed section with shorter tunnels and dedicated track (CJX uses part of that) - St. Polten (around 30mins, like 10 is slow crawl through Vienna, then poof into the tunnel and meep meep all the way to St.Polten)

then there is the S50 and regio corridor which passes stations like Hutteldorf, Wolf in der Au (and other small Vienna stations), Purkersdorf, Neulengbach and serving smaller towns on the way to St.Polten

as for trains - CityJet 4746, Taurus plus either Wiesel dostos or CityShuttle cars (both with control cabs) and for highspeed you can use ICE for the time being :)

this route would be downright excellent, tho I would extend it to Hauptbahnhof, and probably add also Pottendorfer Linie in its current state... rolling stock could include anything from 4020, 4024, CityJet Desiro MLs, Taurus plus dostos... up to CD/OBB RailJets... with speeds up to 160 km/h (Pottendorfer Linie is supposed to be 200 km/h, although cos of construction work going on, especially on a new station at Wampersdorf, it is still limited to an extent) :)

pllllls... I would play this route to death :))) kinda
