We don't have Automated Announcements in Train Sim World 2, so this is a suggestion for announcements. Automated Announcements would make a realistic and immersive driving experience. For example, this feature could be added first to the Bakerloo Line, Southeastern High Speed, Brighton Mainline and Long Island Railroad. This would allow players to feel that they actually on any of these routes and trains in real life. Now, DTG have badly, harshly blamed the reason for TSW2 not having announcements on licensing. We all know that they are finding a way to implement announcements into the game. Hopefully a new core upgrade would allow announcements to be added.

These are all done by Ingo Ruff & HMA S3 Helga Bayertz . His American equivalent is Velinda Mitchell LIRR Metro-North M7 M7A & M9A & NYC Subway source is Pix 11 CW New York. Ingo Ruff Announcements RRO S8 Riesa-Dresden RE18 Dresden Hbf to Grossenhein. Note this one has other Cottbus area announcements RE18 has a unique chime RE55 Main Spessart Bahn has Hosbach Skipped SKA HRR RE1 HMA S3 Helga Bayertz the German equivalent to BKL Emma Clarke NYC Subway West Side Dianne Thompson A, C,F trains & IND/BMT Shuttles Kathleen Campion NJ Transit Sarah Weaver
Matt has addressed this in streams on multiple occasions. The issue is not programming- that apparently would be rather simple - but legal. Apparently it opens a whole can of copyright worms.
If they add the realistic announcements, copyright would get them into a load of trouble, and if they did fake ones, some players would go mad, and there still may be some legal issues
Really good point but in real life if you're on LGV Méditerranée Simone Herault announcements will play while Main Spessart Bahn Riesa-Dresden Rhein-Ruhr Osten RSN HRR Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Hamburg-Lübeck München Augsburg going to have Ingo Ruff announcements while others have it as Helga Bayertz like DB BR423 HMA S3
I agree and regarding Emma Clarke the German equivalent for her is Helga Bayertz which is what Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg DB BR420 DB BR423 have installed. Frankfurt Am Main S-Bahn uses Ingo Ruff on DB BR423 420 430.
I think there's more important things that need doing then announcements which are likely to be barely audible in the cab
You mean Ingo Ruff and he's all over Germany. That includes RRO and Riesa-Dresden with it's DB BR146.2 DB BR143 layering to RRO RSN HMA HRR and used on Main Spessart Bahn. If you check my earlier reply there's a Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden announcement by Ingo Ruff even the Tharandter Rampe S3. If DTG got Veolia Transdev license then the Silver DB BR1440 will get Helga Bayertz and Ingo Ruff with his announcement being used on RRO S8. There are members of the community that managed to get an Ingo Ruff announcements moded onto ska rro rsn main Spessart Bahn
