Does the Automatic Brake work more realistically in TSW 2 than TSW 2020 on the American Freight routes? The initial reduction is too effective on TSW 2020 in my peronal experience.
    Just curious.
If they are I may purchase the TSW 2 in order to get the Clinchfield route.

It's not that it's "too effective", just too severe. In RL, initial reduction is only about 6 pounds.

Right. I'd say it acts more like 15 or more if I were to have to pick a number. With the two GP38s I tested and I cant drag a small cut of freight cars in number 8 without it stopping fairly quick.
If it's the same then stretch braking wont be any fun non dynamic equipped units in TSW2.

You don't have to pick one, just read it off the gauge!
To date, all US locos in TSW2 have dynamic brakes. The British ones don't but then their air or vacuum brakes are a whole 'nuther adventure anyway!

No problem. What I meant was the 6 lbs acts to me more like 15 lbs or more does in real life.

If I'm not mistaken, in game it is 12-15 lbs, not the 6 it ought to be. (Except on the C40-8W; on that one they seem to have got it right)

Thanks for the input on this. TSW2 maybe the ticket for me then. Does the Dash 8 respond less severe to you when in initial reduction?
