Several people are reporting that they are getting virus warnings and in some cases AV is blocking installation of the update. FSecure seems to be one of the worst players. There may be way to add this patch to the whitelist, or disable the AV until the installation is complete. As always, back up your files before updating anything. Remember that system restore still works in Windows 10, one needs to know where to find it, enable it, and then use it.

AVG also detected this issue on my system. I whitelisted it and had no other issues running the game.

ajpardy, a simple Verify is all you need to do to check you have the latest version (right-click on Train Simulator, select Properties, then click Local Files, then click Verify integrity of game files and allow it to complete). Also to note the launch option switch is -fastload as all one word not two separate words as you've posted. Latest version is 71.5a (the version number is shown in the lower left corner of the settings menu or from the main loading screen when starting the software. Best, Steve
