    Why does your train perform an emergency brake as you pass over the summit between Barnt Green and Longbridge? the same thing used to happen on openBVE as I recall

    I think you were tripped because between Barnt Green and Longbridge you get checked down, from green, to double yellow, to single yellow, then red but when you approach the red, it turns green, that's called approach-controlled signalling, it is similar to the approach to Gravesend if you are terminating in Platform 0 if you have come from Dartford, the same principle applies, hope this explains it :)
