With the U.S. Routes on the roadmap seem to be slowly dying off and Amtrak not having any fresh love in a while id say a backdated North East Corridor route would be pretty nice Backdated route: *any NEC section of DTGs choosing * Rolling stock that can be used: AEM-7 E60, Amfleet Cab Car
My preferred backdated NEC would be set in the 1960s with GG1s (for passenger and freight services) and E44(a)s (mostly for freight services). Maybe a P5(a) could be added as a DLC. We could also see some PRR diesel power on the NEC for yard and local duties.
I like NEC and I do like older electric trains, so this sounds like an awesome suggestion. The AEM-7 looks like a cool loco
A Northeast Corridor route from NYC to Philadelphia during the turn of the new millenium would be amazing Arrow III,Alp-44,Aem-7,E60MA,HHP-8,Acela,Silverliners II-IV ,and Comets IB-IV would be the perfect trains for it
