Where do these photos go when you take a screen shot of your catch and click the button to upload to the server? Where can they be viewed later?

If you go to the Bassmaster 22 game website and then log in, you click on the red “profile” tab and then you should come to a page with a couple of options that read “Mastery,” “Rewards,” “Shots,” “Logs,” and “Reports.” Click “shots” and it will bring up all of the in-game photos you’ve snapped (assuming that once you took the photo you selected upload to Dovetail Live - the X button on Xbox).

Also the catch logs and reports are interesting - catch logs show everything you’ve caught (though there is a delay in this reflecting online); reports show you a heat map for each lake indicating what species have been caught most in a particular area, including the named Legendary fish.

I just realized, this is probably a bad idea if you are going to compete in tournaments. Giving away your hotspots!

Fair point! Some of the photo angles don't seem to give away too much of the background.. so if you were fishing along a nondescript shoreline or open water (i.e. where there isn't a readily identifiable in-game landmark to clue someone in) you might still be ok.

FWIW, the photos on the "Shots" page do indicate location/place, but I'm not sure anyone but you can see it, and there is an edit function for the photo info IIRC.

Then again... if you look at the catch "Reports," you can see a heatmap of any lake showing where the community is having the best luck catching particular species and even the spots where the named legendary fish are being more frequently caught. If players regularly look to the reports, they should be able to find most of the hotspots anyways, assuming the heatmap is regularly updating with live data.
