Xbox Series X "battery Power Must Be Turned On Before Attepting To Drive This Locomotive"

What is up with this issue? How do I fix it?
I'm on the Frankfurt-Fulda route in the BR 114. The issue shows up when I load a saved game. Is this a bug or is there actually something I can do in the train?

 

Don't load from a save. Save game can be hit or miss

 

So it is a bug I'd like to think loading a save would be a standard feature, at least when some drives can be several hours long..

 

Not in TSW, I’m afraid. Just as a friendly heads-up, loading saves has never worked properly in TSW. While it will occasionally work, it mostly just breaks your game. Better to only drive what you can finish in one sitting.

 

personally i never bother using the save feature I either finish a service i'm running or if i have enough just end the service at the next station and restart service when i get on next time
