Now the Traxx platform is almost complete I think it would be fun to see if the Eurosprinter family from Siemens can be completed. I was thinking of the baureihe 189 (with C-akv coupler). This locomotive is mostly used in Cross-border traffic and the largest customer are DB and MRCE. The locomotives are mainly used for heavy freight trains, but also sometimes for passenger night trains.

Because the BR189 is mostly used for heavy freight trains. Some are equipped with a C-akv coupler. These couplers are made to pull heavier loads and making coupling easier as it is an automatic coupler. You see these mostly used for the heavy ore/coal trains. As these trains are long and also used with a G (Goods) braking regime. It would be a nice challenge for in TSW with Accelerating and pneumatic braking.

The wagons coupled to the C-akv are type Falrrs (used for ore/coal trains) (see images)

Add More details and if you are wondering DB BR189 comes in two versions one with Buffers and Chains the 2nd being C-Akv couplers PZB Mode U operation which runs Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway on the portion Zevenaar-Duisburg. MRCE ELL can operate on Riesa-Dresden and Duisburg Oberhausen Arnhem Railway for the sleeper train Amsterdam Duisburg Aschaffenburg Würzburg Wien and Innsbruck via Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg. NS ELL BR193 runs to Köln Hbf from Amsterdam CS where it's dropped for a DB BR182 ÖBB1116 which runs from Aachen Hbf.

Even the BR 189 looks very similar to the TRAXX 1 in the outside and inside, it is a completely other loco. The TRAXX 1 come from Bombardier the 189 comes from Siemens Transportation. There are some differences in the outside design too. The upper body of the TRAXX 1 has a smooth surface. The 189 has narrow longitudinal profiles at both sides of it's upper body.

With the BR189 there are interesting things for in the sim. Because the BR189 is often used for coal and ore trains, they are often equipped with c-akv couplings. These are made to make coupling easier and to pull heavier loads. Coal/ore trains are very heavy, so a nice challenge for in the simulator ;)

A true PZB Mode U train because the Iron Ore train weighs 6 kilotons matching wagons for them are Faals-Falrrs sides have a warning Triangle
