Today I am suggesting an interesting and scenic commuter route based in Bedfordshire and ending in London. Bedford to London Bridge set in 2021. I am suggesting this route be set in 2021 so that players can use the East Midlands HST from the Midland Main Line route and drive it from Bedford to the upper level of London St Pancras. Bedford train station: London Bridge train station: According to Trainlines website, Bedford to London Bridge by train covers a distance of around 47 miles or 75km and the duration of this route is 1 hour and 17 minutes. On this route, there are 20 stations giving players variety and catering to different types of players who may prefer stop and start commuter services or high speed services. Rolling Stock: Class 700 Class 43 HST DLC Class 222 Service Pattern 54 trains a day from Bedford to London Bridge (Thameslink) 50 trains a day from Bedford to London St Pancras international (EMR) Why it should be made in the game The journey from Bedford to London Bridge features diverse landscapes, ranging from the picturesque countryside of Bedfordshire to the bustling urban environment of central London. This variation in terrain and scenery offers an immersive experience for players, showcasing the beauty of the English countryside alongside the dynamic energy of the capital city. This route also caters to various types of players as mentioned above. Players interested in high speed journeys have the ability to use a HST from Bedford to St Pancras whereas players interested in commuter services have the ability to use the Class 700 and stop at the majority of stations on the route. I also believe this route would be the first of its kind in TSW where there is a station with an underground platform and a higher level platform that being St Pancras international. I believe the route duration is perfect for the game, not too short for a commuter route and not too long. Furthermore, my favourite feature of this route would be the section from the underground platforms of St Pancras and going through the tunnels at slow speed and stopping at Farringdon, City Thameslink and Blackfriars before ending the route at a beautiful London Bridge station right in the middle of the capital. Layers Class 395 at London St Pancras international Class 465 at London Bridge Class 375 at London Bridge FINAL THOUGHTS I strongly believe this route would be a massive hit, there's something for every type of TSW player. The transition from countryside to city would make this route highly appealing. The level of AI traffic would be amazing at every section of the route whether you are in the Bedfordshire countryside or in the central part of London. I think London Bridge is a beautiful station and seeing it on the game full of AI traffic similarly to London Victoria would be fantastic. I also strongly believe having the upper level of St Pancras and the underground platforms of St Pancras in the same route would be highly amazing.
