I know there's been a few similar threads made before this one, but I would like my turn to beg dovetail to please make this simple change. Right now, there is no way to toggle the bell on and off on an American locomotive using a controller set to the "Immersion controls." This is possible with the "Classic Controls" from TSW1, but I would much rather use the immersion control scheme since, as the name implies, I find it more immersive. When they introduced the shift functionality, (holding down "X" to give you more options), I though finally they'll add the bell toggle, but alas they did not (for some reason). They added a secondary horn option for UK and German trains, but didn't use that same action for the bell on US trains. When spirit of steam was released, they added "steam shift" to the immersion controls (now holding down "A" gives you more steam related options). So I thought, it mustn't be a difficult thing to add new key bindings to the controls, why don't we have a bell toggle yet. So dovetail, if you're reading this, please consider adding a bell toggle to the immersion controls. It could be as simple as making it the secondary horn option, or holding "X" and then pressing up on the D-pad. Seems like the perfect feature to include with the release of this mysterious "US Route" we've been hearing about for months. Sincerely, an American TSW fan who just wants to ring his bell when pulling into stations.
