Hello, I would like to see this route in Train Sim World 2. It is a very small route (about 21 Km) and there your standard Route Photo Bellinzona Station Terminal of the line and a very important interchange station between Italian-Swiss transits and SBB services. The most important line of the station is Bellinzona-Lugano. Locarno Station 2 terminus of the line and a small station exclusively used for the Bellinzona-Lucarno line. Giubiasco(Bellinzona) Station One of the most important branches of Switzerland branches into 4 different lines, including the one that connects Italy(Milan) There is a very high traffic suppressed of freight trains. ETR 524 The train I think most used by the Swiss railways is a RABe 524 with 6 carriages (which with the union of 2 trains can reach 12 carriages) and can do 160 km/h. The signals are very similar to the German ones and the state can also be transmitted directly to the driver. I hope you enjoy this treats and you can think about it! Thanks a lot and hello!
I thought it was an excellent suggestion! Glad to help clear up with image linking issues! I think the route is wonderfully beautiful. There is a very nice atmosphere along the line. Here is a cab ride video: Part 1 Part 2 I think the route should include the 19km (2 Stations) to Biasca to be able to contain the entirety of the S20 service between Biasca and Locarno. (In the map below; the S20 service has a dotted line to Airolo - This is because there is only 1 service a day as opposed to the normal hourly S20 service between Biasca and Locarno, and half-hourly service between Bellinzona and Locarno) The route could also include the 16km to the Swiss/Italian border that branches at Cadenazzo and would reach to Ranzo-Sant'Abbondio station as part of the the Cadenazzo–Luino line. It could also travel across the border to the first station over the Italian border (Pino-Tronzano station) which is 2km further along, or even the entire Cadenazzo–Luino line which is 31km total (including all the trackage from Cadenazzo mentioned previously). S. Nazzaro on the Cadenazzo–Luino line (within the Swiss section).
