My idea for a Route would be the Line from Bern via Burgdorf to Olten with a Branch line for the S-Bahn from Burgdorf to Langnau i.E. The route has a length of about 70–75 Kilometers. The reason for a branch line is that the S4 Train and other S-Bahn trains continue from Burgdorf into the direction of Langnau. The service pattern of this Route would include 2 hourly IR services with fewer stops from Bern to Olten. Also, 2 S-Bahn Trains from Bern to Burgdorf that would branch off there into the direction of Langnau i.e. There is the potential for a lot of Ai S-Bahn Services in Bern, Burgdorf, and Langnau that would make the Route feel alive. I like the idea of the route since it would still allow for a new Swiss Route without the SBB licensing. Bern is one of the few Main stations in a major city, that doesn't rely on the SBB for the S-Bahn. Another reason is that Bern is the defacto Capital of Switzerland and is a major railway hub. You can even see the beautiful Alps just after the Main station in Bern, and because of that, I think that it would add new fascinating Rolling Stock that many have been waiting for. Operators The operators on this Route are the BLS and the SOB (only one connection that could be substituted by a BLS train) Rolling stock For the IR Services makes the RABe 515 the most sense. It's a four/six-car Stadler Kiss Train. For simplicity would the usage of the RABe 528 make the most sense. Since it's the same train that is used on the S4 Line that runs on this route. For the most realistic option, both of these trains would need to exist on the route. These 2 trains are heavily used on the S-Bahn Network of Bern. Other options include the RABe 525 and RABe 535.
