I suggest birmingham new dtreet to stanstead via nuneaton. Set in modern times ( last 5 years) With avanti west coast class 390 pendolino and class 222 voyager also cross country class 222 voyager and tutbostar class 170
Good suggestion. Voyager wise, Avanti operate 221s not 222s and cross country operate 221s and 220s. I’d really like to see them in the game (not as much as a 91 of course). Rivet is making a 170 so that could be layered on with a new livery. People have previously reported licensing is a problem with cross country, but I really hope DTG find a way around it.
Too long as a complete route, Birmingham to Peterborough possibly but more likely Birmingham to Leicester the extent to which DTG would go. This route would also be far better set back in a more classic era with Class 31 hauled Mark One and Mark Two formations, along with a heady mix of Class 104, Class 105 (Cravens) and Class 120 Swindon Cross Country DMU’s. The latter being regular performers on the 1528 Birmingham New Street to Cambridge, back in the day.
