On the new class 323 what does the traction interlock isolate do and does it work as upon isolating it it doesn’t affect the way the doors work as when you take power they still shut unless I’m understanding wrong I thought it’s supposed to allow doors to open during movement even when isolating before moving it appears not to affect doors
I think it only applies to the driver's door and whether you can take power with it open... will test in a mo (doing the class 43 runs at the moment)
Just done a few tests and it seems to be the case that if the traction control lockout is isolated you can use the manual door handle to the drivers left rear to open the drivers door when the train is moving. Other than this the train does an automatic stop and closes the door
