I'm aware this route was in an older build of train simulator, but never had a chance to try it. I would sincerely like to see it in TSW4. I am local to Gloucester and have always wanted a route around here, we have links to South Wales as well.
As a loco suggestion with this route, My favourite diesel loco is the DB Class 60 and I want to haul those shiny new VTG Tankers with a Class 60, as is commonly seen running to Westerleigh Puma Dbc, just South of Yate. Passenger services are all served by existing locos in the game such as GWR 166s, 158s and 800s.

Would be nice to see XC voyagers playable between temple meads and new street.

Big thumbs up from me - I used to ride this route a lot in the early 1980s when I was a student in Devon. It's a lovely run. From time to time we'd get Class 50s with cool names like Warspite and Ark Royal. Happy days!

Do you mean the section of route on XC mainline from Scotland to Plymouth/Penzance? With the voyager I just looked at this route, apparently it doesn’t call at Gloucester so it’s only 4 stops long, Birmingham New Street, Cheltenham Spa, Bristol Parkway, and Temple Meads. Could add XC towards Cardiff with Turbostars ending at Gloucester. I like the idea of GWR via Yate. They should do this as an extension to Birmingham cross city
