Located in the North East of England, this route is operated by Northern rail. Bishop Auckland has a long railway history with the station originally opening in 1843 and being rebuilt in 1986. The current station. Bishop Auckland has been a single platform since the early 1980's due to decline in passenger numbers. Bishop Auckland gets one service and hour to Saltburn it is also a terminus to the Weardale heritage railway. Saltburn-by-the-sea situated in Yorkshire is the bigger of the two stations, opened in 1861 it currently has two platforms. Saltburn has services operated by Northern and Trans Pennine express. Northern operate two services an hour (On the full tees valley line) one to Darlington and one that carries onto Bishop Auckland. There is a possibility Trans Pennine services could be included going as far to Middlesbrough on the route. Rolling stock could include the class 158, 156 and possibly the 185 depending if Trans Pennine are included at the class 142 if it's set before there retirement. (I can't upload the 142 because there is no more space but we all know what it looks like) Other notable stations on this route include Middlesbrough, Darlington and Redcar Central Thank you for reading.
