I just purchased the Black 5 loco add on. Good engine, but the braking system is buggy as anything, especially the train brake. Saving and restarting seems to fix, but still not good. Some examples that have happened to me.
Using brakes while going down hill, then suddenly they stop working and cannot stop, even with full application.
Stopped at a station and brake pipe pressure doesn't release beyond roughly 5Mg. Nothing I do, including resetting small and large injector allows release of the brakes.
Sudden application of brakes that also cannot be released once at a stop. Has made it almost impossible to play even a single run-through. Have had to stop and reload at least once for every 15 minutes travel time. Incredibly irritating. One even struck as I was approaching Maillig. Over ran the station and derailed after 60 minutes of play, ruined because the brake system doesn't work well.

Which Black 5? The Bossman Games'? Are you aware of the usage of the Ejectors? Don't expect an "F4 HUD" arcade style play or simplified Kuju brakes. It's a simulator :). Real steamers are not to be played but mastered! :D

    A note on that.

I tend to get a bit angry because of post like yours, stewart.wright

Instead of asking for help on how to operate this loco, I could not find a single question in your post. It is just a statement that this loco is bugged - which is just false. I see a lot of bad reviews for Pro locos on Steam, which is unfair to the developers, because they've delivered a solid product.

The fact is, people just can't be bothered to read a manual. I can't agree more with the above. It's one thing to just complain that you can't operate a certain trail, and have a bit of a moan about it, but to just launch straight into a complaint that it's broken in some way, just because you haven't read the manual is ridiculous.
