Seriously how hard is it to remove the alerter from BNSF locomotives? They go off non stop, most cases just when you are a camera outside the cab. Its annoying and not useful basically. Simply get rid of it.
The alerter by default is off so you do not need to worry about it going off while you're using the outside camera views while driving.
I don’t know if you’re taking about free roam but on almost every US trains, when I spawn one of these, the alerter is on despite being deactivated. You just have to acknowledge and it’s gone (sometimes get up and sit down).
The alerter is active in all locomotives in a consist and can’t be turned off by normal means. Inside the driving cab it can be silenced but not in external cameras as you hear the alerter from the other cabs in external views. This is in Free Roam of course.
Yes guys I am talking about free roam. Its essentially broken. Im not going to every single locomotive to silence them
When I’m spawning an ALP46 with its BiLevl coaches it’s ok I can shut it down but with bigger freight convoy I just skip it.
