Santa Fe ordered 83 Dash 8-40BW (also called B40-8W) diesel locomotives from GE in the late 1980s. They were used along side the GP60s/GP60Ms/GP60Bs on fast intermodal trains. ATSF reused their old Warbonnet passenger livery on these engines, and called the livery "Superfleet." When ATSF and BN merged in 1996, the B40-8Ws ended up on the BNSF roster. Some were sold to other railroads in the 2000s. Currently, the remaining BNSF B40-8Ws have been undergoing rebuilding and are used as switchers and local freight units. BNSF currently rosters only 60 of their original B40-8W units as one was wrecked and 15 were sold to other railroads. My proposed BNSF B40-8W pack would include the following: -ATSF B40-8W in Superfleet Warbonnet Livery -BNSF Ex-ATSF Patched Superfleet B40-8W -BNSF H1 B40-8W -BNSF H2 B40-8W -BNSF Swoosh H3 or H4 B40-8W -A few new pieces of rolling stock: -2-Bay Cement Hopper -Steel Coil Car -Coal Gondola or Hopper
