Below is a list of BNSF branded products that were previously only available in the US and have now been made available worldwide! Because that does not work for the Raton Pass. Read my post over here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...-releasing-worldwide.49658/page-6#post-455523 But just incase:
Frankly, the names for the different assets on Raton need to be fixed. That would make it easier for users to identify the correct assets without having to research the history of the DLC. BTW DTG Jamie you may want to get the store person to remove the following from the pages: "This DLC is only available to purchase in the USA." This appears on the Northern, the ATSF SD45-2, and the F7. The unusable ROW livery for the F7, the D&RGW, is resolved with this update. The BNSF Locomoive Pack information erroneously lists the SD40-2 where the GP38-2 should be in the summary of what is included. Finally, the first official DLC - that is, the Snoot - still says, "This DLC is included with the Steam version of RailWorks 3: Train Simulator 2012 and is only available for purchase to retail copy owners." I believe this is outdated as it's now ten years later and the retail copy of Railworks 3 is rare now. Coincidentally, I actually unlocked an unused retail copy in 2021, and I didn't have that DLC at the time.
Yeah and as this DLC is integrated into the US Loco & Asset Pack I wonder what reason there is for it to be sold seperately... someone bought it and wrote an angry Steam review Btw... proud owner of this Bought this to get Cajon Pass, Code was already activated. Then I found a valid key on Amazon for CP.
The good news is the fictional routes are on the Workshop. (I've been meaning to move the scenarios over; I should at some point.) As for my TS2012, I told the seller flat-out that the game does not install from the CD, I can bypass all the paperwork and such for the $11 extra it would have cost, and I just wanted to activate the code without shipping anything. Fortunately, he agreed, so I bought it at the cheaper price, tested the code, it worked, and I had no need to request a refund. That's what you call an instant result.
Clever, Trevor!! Yes, the internal network structure of the routes (Castle Rock, Hedborough and lovely Seebergbahn) is the same, so the scenarios work if you move them.
I'm aware of that. And since the route is free now and the scenarios cannot be acquired with it, I think this is considered fair game. (For the amount of money we have to spend to get good play in this game, it better be...)
What about the SD70 v2, GP9 pack and the SD75? Also I still can't seem to purchase some of the packs. As you can see there is no purchase button. However in general thank you for releasing most of the packs worldwide, I'm very grateful to be able to now use BNSF trains
I think i’ve found a minor discrepancy in The Racetrack update. The scenic caboose located at Aurora Metra station has, in my case, missing textures. When the update came through I moved the Textures USA file (RWA) out so as not to cause any possible confusion and so that i could be sure of the update. Reinstating that file in the System folder restores the “missing” textures. Anyone else have this?
Racetrack only has this caboose. What texture/decal are you missing? I'm asking because there was someone saying a HiLine coal hopper would be missing BNSF decals, and someone from US replied they had always been missing. For me everything is textured... Edit: Why do you still have a TexturesUSA from RWA? Remove that, it's obsolete and possibly interfering, only TexturesCMT pack is needed for Metra logos.
Make sure there's nothing except for this in Assets\Barnez\BNSFChicago (Maybe the branded CMT textures but they shouldn't interfere) Delete blueprints.pak and try with this (original) config. If it works you can add System\TexturesCMT pack for the Metra logos.
It is the caboose which is a CB&Q relic located outside the metra station at Aurora. It is a scenic item not rolling stock.
Is it a Metra caboose? Metra branding is not provided. You can download Metra branded assets at Railworks America. Once you can buy the SW1500, there is also a Metra model here. There seems to be an F40PH under DRB_Simstuff; that requires Decatur Junction. There are more, including an MP36PH, but that's just a sample.
It is listed in the clutter file as CB&Q caboose and it has as I reported initially. Now I have the Textures USA active it has the CB&Q red band and logo box.
Sorry I don't know which caboose you're talking about. Under Scenery/Clutter I don't have that (World Editor). Again could you post a screenshot? Or is that a scenario with additional assets? Is it this one? It's textured by default for me... no additional texture pack.
I love how they put a rail track there and made it a separate rail car. I guess so people could use it in scenarios if they really wanted, not just as a scenery element.
So why was John missing a texture? The CBQ logo is part of the official US assets, not needing the RWA pack (I know because I removed it, only kept the CMT Metra pack) RailWorks\Assets\Barnez\BNSFChicago\BNSFChicagoAssetsSystem.ap\System\TexturesUSA\CBQ_logo.TgPcDx Slightly confused...
Problem solved. I hadn’t checked the USA assets, sorry chaps. That explains why no one else had the problem, duh a Homer moment or three.
834409 is the Class 159. My iPad is being asinine, so I cannot properly link it ATM. 203148 is the ROW Raton Pass.
Yes, I have just looked them up on the Steam database. Those are the only 2 Product IDs that I have in my TS Steam DLC.
Thanks for this information, as I was not aware of its existence. It's neither appearing in the US Loco nor in the Classics Range list, I only found by directly entering it in the Search box.
The SD75 has been one of those irritating locos that you can manage without but it and it’s rolling stock keep coming up as requirements in scenarios. Now the irritant is sorted. There are a number of enhancements, horn, physics and liveries in the RWA library.
I'm bases in Australia as well - the content shows but unable to purchase. However the Great Northern F7 Empire Builder and Big Sky Blue are now available to buy. Raton doesn't even show up for me. EDIT: I got Raton and Cajon pass confused. I meant Cajon Pass
I decided to get this one as a scenario pack. The locos are already in the US assets, but it comes with scenarios for Cajon Pass and Castle Rock. Cajon Pass scenarios are: [BNSF1] Cement Snoot [BNSF1] Free Roam: San Bernardino [BNSF1] Don't Stop Moving Castle Rock scenarios: [BNSF1] Free Roam: Monument [BNSF1] Against the Grain You can play the scenarios on the workshop version [WS] Castle Rock Railroad. Just move them from Routes\00000006-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Scenarios to Routes\85e59955-ee4d-41f4-bfbd-b84444e53a1a\Scenarios
Nope, Castle Rock is 00000006-0000-0000-0000-000000000000. 00000008 is TestTrak. Don't confuse everybody
704280, Product ThreeHundredThirtyFour (704280) that it the "Raton Pass ROW" version, so untick that one as well as the now properly named "Raton Pass Content US", let Steam sync the game (takes a few minutes) and then tick the "Raton Pass Content US" one I have informed Jamie about the renaming of the first one and asked if it could be possible to change the other one also (the 704280) so it is clear for users
Plus the GP9, GP20, BN Wagon pack to name a few others not to mention the SW1500 pack although now we have access to a couple of BN/BNSF versions was withheld because of BNSF.
