This ride can have three paths the very old, the middle fast and a high speed what mostly is covered via tunnels. History: The Porrettana line was opend in the Apennines between Bologna and Florance via pistoia and Prato in 1864 this is the first line also called Bologna-Pistoi this line has a max speed of 140 km/h, later was the a more direct line built in the early 20 century the Bologna-Firenze direttissima (most direct.) this line has a max speed of 180 km/h. the last line is the newst line and is a high speed line with max speeds up to 300km/h this is the Bologna-Firenze alta velocita. Trains: for the high speed train could the Italo AGV what has a top speed of 300 km/h for freight trains could be used the 185 and for the the limited stops and all stops could be used two trains. the Regionale Velonce stops only on the main stations of local services and an Regionale that stops on every station. This route should be a unice with three ways to go to Firenze and a very scenic route . ps: i dont know a lot about italian railways and trains.
You typed Bologna five times in the OP, and not once was it typed properly - how is that even possible? *Kappa*
You are looking at FS E483 Traxx DC version of the 185. If there needs to be a freight locomotive than can run here and Existing German routes RFI E190 ES64U4 fits this route and German routes. Neighbouring Austria it's the OBB Baureihe 1216 so
An Italian route would be good in tsw . This route is a bit short however . I was thinking maybe the line from Firenze - Pisa via Lucca ( a line I traveled on last week )
the high speed is about 70 km and takes around the 320-30 min and the middle line and old line are about the 1 - 2 hour rides
When it comes to TSW2, shorter is better IMO. Just look at the copy-paste scenery of the TGV route. The less distance that needs to be done, the more chance for detailed surroundings.
