I don’t know about you guys but I feel the tutorials since tsw 3 have been very repetitive and boring. Don’t get me wrong they are very informative but each tutorial seems to be a copy and paste of shunting or the small loop or the bigger loop, after a while this gets tedious and boring, what’s the point of having training if it’s just going to be a carbon copy of a previous training mission for example I have driven the exact same one 5 times with different locos and I’m extremely bored of them, please bring back the old tutorials as they was a lot better when they was on the routes

I want to see tutorials on starting a loco from a complete shut down state. I also want to see timetables and scenarios where you start in a yard with the loco completely shut down. As it is at the moment, you start in the cab with the engine running is just boring!

I think some of the best tutorials were the ones on Oakville: while simple, they even walk you through changing ends of a loco tandem.
Personally, I don't think the cold start is necessary, since you don't really have to do it, except in special cases (free-to-play scenarios, or starting on foot on a route). And for those, we have manuals in most cases.
On the other hand, I would like to see more scenarios, including cold starts, changing ends, special operations (train wash, load/unload of coal or aggregates or ethanol, etc.), switching, and so on. I would gladly buy more New Journeys DLCs, if they came with engaging scenarios.

    In most cases, yes.
Sometimes, the manual might be a YouTube video made by a TSW fan.

There are two major issues with tutorials...

    1. You can't save progress despite some being quite long (SKW?).
    2. They always put the coloured stop on track countdown back on, so you need to keep going in options to turn it off.
