Started on the CTC-3 train recently and have a couple questions and observations for you all. I just tried the first tutorial so far. - ATC Speed. The device box is placed way up high near the ceiling. What do you find to be the best view position to be able to see it. I like to play with no HUD, and just use the 1st person cab instruments. Seated low, you have to keep looking up high to see it, and back down for the levers. There is also what seems like a standing position. - Brakes. The brakes seem very powerful, with just minimal application slowing the train quickly. I haven't yet seen loss of pipe pressure with repeated releases. How much are multiple releases expected to lower pipe pressure? - Brake air noise. Why is there constant air release noise with application of brake? Is that part of the automatic lapping? It seems strange to require leaking air or compressor to keep brakes on, besides being a bit annoying. - Doors. After stopping, what is the appropriate brake setting when stopped for passengers. Also F40-PH - Braking. The automatic brake on this train is also very quick and only minimal reduction is needed. I guess it's more needed at higher speeds. - Dynamic Brake. It is integrated with the Automatic Brake lever. What are the conditions of activation. Trying to understand it better.
