PC Boston Sprinter Freight?

I keep seeing various freight along the route but there is no freight in service mode?

Are the freight trains just scenery only?

According to what Matt has said you are to spawn into the freight yards, and you can drive them. But you're limited to driving them in the yards not out on the mainline.

Mainline freight would require atc/acses equipment on the train which none of the freight locos in tsw have, so you aren't allowed to drive them on the mainline. Freight cars and locomotives are in the route to only populate the sidings due to not having the signaling equipment. You can only go on foot and move them around the siding, but no mainline runs.

 

I'm not sure but senario planner show allow limited freight options.Useing your own trains.
