Hi there. There is red light issue while i'm on non-stop Worcaster service. There seems to be a freight train stuck between Farmingham - West Natick. Frieght Train supposed to make change/switch stuff but it seems it doesn't even the signal is green for it.
Which service, timetable, or scenario, does it have a name and number it starts at what time and where do you start?
09:54 started with Geometry... to Worcaster on the schedule(Timetable) menü, 09:55 departing time from Boston South in the game. I put the screenshot(s). Are you from the developer team? Just curious... Anyway i assumed that train is heading Worcaster direction even the headlights of the loco is on(White) not marking lights(Red). I thought that could be a small bugish thing. However when i get off my train and walking to it's end i realized that its heading to Boston direction. I guess that frieght train missed the junction so it stays on the wrong line. That's why it stucks i think.

Have you tried to rerun this service? Maybe try waiting a couple to five minutes before leaving. I just finished it, I did see some freight trains but had no issues.
I checked again. And unfortunately the problem is still there. 1st screenshot i reached the first red light which supposed to be green or yellow cos' there is no other train ahead between that red light and the yellow one. And be aware of the time upper left of the screen shots. In the second screenshot i passed the red light by contacting to signaller and it says "Proceed at Restricted Speed" and voila! Our problematic Frieght train is still there.. 10:18 first i reached the red Light. 10:31 i reached that freight train which stood still... So again in some way the Ai freight train missed the junction and stay on the wrong side. Then stuck.. I think...
This is Odd, I just finished running this service again, and no Issues other than my stupidity, trying to compare your screenshots to where I was around the same time, and I got hit with a penalty brake. I will ask my daughter to post some screenshots, I'm still feeling a bit out of it, from YAY "COVID" again. I wanted to run this and get back to you.
Here is where I am at the same time at 10:31 as in the one image you have posted. And here I am 10:34 I have seen where, PS and XB players have issues (and between the two consoles the issues vary) where PC players don't on some route, scenario, and or timetable, and even with the same Loco, seeing your playing on the Epic version, I'm on the Steam version, I don't expect there should be any different, But, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Well. It seems that route seem buggy on Epic. And yeah it seems pretty odd. As we play on PC the platform shouldn't be make a difference. That's Dovetail's profession i guess. The date of first post is 13th of November and now we are at 17th of January they don't bother to answer still... Anyway i'll bring it to "Feedback Thread for MBTA" see what happens...
