Well I just bought off Steam Northern Trans Pennine Manchester to Leeds for £19.99 which I paid by PayPal. I looked on Steam but it wanted me to pay again, I looked in my PP account and it said I had paid it. So I look in the sim, no sign of it, goes back to Steam it still wants me to pay, so I was thinking maybe I have not paid so paid again, it definitely went through in PayPal but on steam it says I haven't plus again no sign of it in the sim. I hate stuff like this, looking how to contact Steam anybody know? Col.
Usually your purchases should come up there, but I guess since it's not yet noted as purchased with Steam, you might need to click on the button "Purchases" https://help.steampowered.com/en/
I went on Steam again and it said I need to pay. So got in touch with PP and customer service are taking it up. Col.
Moral of story, don't use Paypal! Either use your debit card direct on Steam or see if your local supermarkets have Steam gift scratch cards which you can buy for yourself and use to add funds to your Steam Wallet.
Moral of the story, don’t use PayPal incorrectly! I’ve always used it with Steam and never once had an issue with it. It would probably have been easier just to contact Steam help, they’d have had it sorted in less than 2hrs for certain.
I'm new to Steam, I looked for some kind of help but couldn't see what I thought was the right thing, looked for a 'Contact us' but couldn't see it. I've used PayPal for years, I use it on Steam, bought a few things but it has always worked. I entered my details as normal, I get a message on my phone to enter a number before the payment goes through and I did that as normal too, so I thought everything was OK. Col.
If you click on ‘Help’ then ‘Steam Support’ inside the steam client you can follow a flow pattern to the actual DLC you have a problem with. It then gives you options as to what you want to do with it and they generally have things sorted with an hour or two. They’re very good like that in my experience.
Yes TY, every time I look it says it is in my basket and needs paying but like I said I've paid twice already, just waiting for email from PayPal, might be a glitch their end as they have recently updated a few things. Col.

Thanks Crosstie, I will look in to it, must admit I got a bit worried thinking I bought it twice, I took screenshots in case. Anyway problem over and I just tried it out, it was a good one, anyone who has it will know there is a tunnel must be over 2 miles long between Marsden - Slaithwaite, while I was in it I thought of the guys who built in all those years ago without modern equipment, things like that we just take for granted without thinking of the hard work that went in to it.
