    Hi All,

Anyone else got issues with lots of textures (often when one object is on top another) flickering? I didn't seem to notice it before but it just seems to get worse..

Also, strangely there are some objects (like station platforms in the SSS NYMR route) that appear to 'bounce' - it's like they are sitting there just slightly juddering around as if sat on water... very odd!

    Flickering, absolutely.
It has two causes, one of them is that they are pretty much exactly in the same location, so any sort of movement makes the engine question which one is visible. Somewhat related topic is antialiasing, which tends to pick subpixels randomly. (For reference, the 2D map and HUD are stable.)
The second is that TSC seems to have physics resulting in nothing ever being stationary. Camera 8 tends to settle, but even that flickers for a while. Trains, however, always move.
So, in short, whenever that annoys you, press 8.

I never experienced bouncing, but again, check with camera 8.
Some trains tend to turn around while stationary, basically the snaking effect. Super weird, but it is what it is. :)

Commonly known as Z fighting, usually combatted by not placing two textured faces or planes too close together, also an issue if one plane has a slightly different LOD setting where one textured plane will pop in before another as you approach.

Not really anything you can do about it as an end user unfortunately.

This issue has always been particularly bad on RSSLO routes, where the two sides of signs are often too close together.
