The 151 would be the perfect proper MSB banking loco. Seen very often on the Spessart ramp. It would be able to sub in for the 185.2 and run mainline services, on other german routes as well. In TSW we have two old east-german (Deutsche Reichsbahn) electric locos but no west-german electric locos (Deutsche Bundesbahn). The exterior is unique (large engine room windows!) and it does have different systems/gauges compared to the 155. Also, this powerhouse of a loco has 8,400 hp!! This iconic locomotive is very popular amongst german railfans, famous for its loud, groaning, and grimy sound. A pair of 151's on the Spessart ramp: A video of a banking 151 coupling to a freight consist at Heigenbrücken:
Seeing how MSB is more or less a farewell to the real MSB being rebuilt to remove banking operations, I think a Br 151 is essential to making MSB the great sendoff to the real thing that it should be.
Aahhhh a classic , I could definitely see this one happening as it can easily substitute in for the MSB services. Would be cool to see the 151 in these liveries,
Must have for MSB since it's a classic locomotive Associated for the route and also this can fit in into West Rhine Railway due to them operating Ore Trains Rotterdam to Dillengen with them being replaced by NS6400s at Venlo or Emmerich. Now for Ore Trains they got replaced by DB BR189s with C-Akv Couplers the yellow ones.
